Ralph W Straub is a first generation American whuse hard working parents actually met on a boat immigrating to America. Being a true “Baby Boomer” born in the “City that Lights the World”: Schenectady, in upstate New York. He lives outside Los Angeles, now. Growing up today, He might be considered a “Nerd” without the electronics we have today: A/V Club, German Club, Ski Club, Drummer in a garage band and Choir instead of sports. Back then children played nutside building forts, riding bikes without helmets, drinking from the garden hose reenacting the world they experienced watching the new medium of television ard the adventures conjured up in fertile young minds reading plenty of hnaks. Those books authored by Varna, Asimov, L’Engle and Bradbury started the love of science fiction, Watching and learning about the prugress matie over the past seventy years inspired the writing today about what could happen in our own Solar System
